1988	A splendid set for brightening up a gloomy room. A simple wire connection from the power pack to the Hazard Skid Chicane brings on a set of flashing yellow warning lights around its edge. Add to this the headlights and working ‘brake’ lights of the two Porsches and you can have a really thrilling contest. Cars fitted with track hugging MAGNATRACTION.
1989	The large track circuit has a mixture of banked and flat curves, a pair of changeover tracks and a hazard skid chicane fitted with those flashing warning lights so familiar to users of motorways undergoing repairs. Two speedy Porsches compete keenly for the club honours. They have working head and brake lights and a suspended magnet system (MAGNATRACTION) for faster cornering.
1990	The classic outline of the Porsche cars sets the scene for this high quality racing set. In contrast to the full time headlights, the red brakelights only come on when the drivers release the hand throttle trigger to brake. Beneath the cars are magnets to help them hold their line above the metal conductor rails in the track. The large circuit includes a pair of changeover tracks and a flashing hazard skid chicane that has simple electric connections to the mains transformer.
1991	The famous engineering quality of Porsche is emulated by Scalextric in those fast and dependable models. Their specification includes working headlights and brakelights together with the Magnatraction feature whereby a magnet helps to hold the rear of the car over the metal conducting rails in the track allowing faster cornering. The circuit has a pair of changeover tracks and a hazard skid chicane with those flashing lights so dreaded by motorists in a hurry. Power for the lights is obtained by a direct connection to the power pack included in the set. Space required 103’ x 5’ 312 x 152 cms. Track running length 23’6” 716 cms.
