Right from the 'Off' the 2 litre powered BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) cars go for it as they charge towards the first bend. This is racing, taking man and machine to the edge and then beyond. The new Scalextric Tourers 2000 set embodies the spirit of this dynamic and thrilling motor sport. The dramatically modified bodies of the BMW and Ford Mondeo are fitted lower on their chassis, giving them an improved centre of gravity which means they hold the track better, especially when cornering at speed. This, together with Magnatraction and purposeful front and rear spoilers, creates domineering cars prepared to take on all-comers. A further improvement is the incorporation of the new style Easi-Fit light assembly which provides lightbulb replacement, in seconds. The circuit is designed for speed and with the bends properly cambered, using the track supports, corners can be taken at high velocity, but not flat out! You have been warned. |
