1980	With the French team switching after 3 lean years to the Ford Cosworth V8 engine their 79 season started in tremendous style with victories in the Argentine, Brazilian and Spanish G.P's. The Scalextric model based on this very successful JS11 has an eye catching design surpassed only by its high speed performance on the track.
1981	Extremely competitive virtually throughout 1980, the JS11 was probably the quickest car of the season.
1982	From its first appearance in the Argentine Grand Prix in 1979 the JS11 was always going to be a success. In its first five outings it achieved three wins. The highly detailed model of the JS11 is a fine addition to any Scalextric collection. Finished in dark blue with white panels and red highlights the Ligier JS11 is an excellent reproduction of its real life counterpart. The engine and gearbox are well detailed and plated to give a more realistic appearance. The JS11 was powered by a Ford Cosworth V8 engine and amongst its contemporaries was probably the fastest car. During the 1980 season the car achieved victories in the Belgian and German Grand Prix. The Ligier model is very fast and would feature strongly in any Scalextric event.
