Famed for its power and handling characteristics the Metro over the years has been a proven racing machine both on and off the roads. The spritely Scalextric Metros owe much to their full size cousins as they race around the figure 8 circuit with the high banked curves. Tough and reliable these cars are really nippy racers, but remember, if you go too slow the cars will roll off the curves, too fast and you could over-shoot. So a little practice may be needed before you start racing in earnest. |

Used quite often as an introduction into full size racing the Metros have proved to be reliable and forgiving in the hands of the novice. The Scalextric Metros have inherited many of these qualities and are ideally suited to the banked figure eight circuit included in this set. However, care must be taken when negotiating these curves, go too slow and you will roll off, too fast and you could take to the air! |

The nippy little Metro’s make easy work of the fast figure eight circuit included in this set. Being equally matched, the driver who takes the winning flag must be the one with the greatest skill. However many drivers have relied too heavily on the banked curves, realising too late that they need to be taken at the right speed; too slow and the cars will roll, too fast and they become airborne! Ideal as a starter set, the Mini Metros can be relied upon to take the rough and tumbles dished out to them by the novice driver, time and time again. |
