Where would the multi faceted world of motor racing be without the enthusiastic input from the Ford Motor Company. Whether it be involvement in Formula One, Single Seat Racing or Rallying the Ford logo can be seen on or around the winners rostrum. Ford's racing prowess can clearly be seen with their rallying achievements, both in the National and International arena with cars like the XR2i typifying the Ford flexibility of changing a small family 'run-around-car' into an all conquering racing machine. The two XR2i's, each sporting their own distinctive racing trim, are equipped with Easi-Fit guide blades, Magnatraction, plus floating independent front axle stubs and wheels. This combination allows for both cars to give their best on the figure eight circuit included in this set. Careful use of the crash barriers on the banked curves will allow for optimum performance at racing speeds, while the lower level straight provides the ideal location point for the Power Base. |
