1988	With this high speed banked figure 8 circuit drivers can momentarily use full throttle. Racing in the dark adds further excitement as the powerful Escorts flash round with their head and tail lights aglow. When fully fitted with crash barriers and flagpoles in position the set makes a most colourful spectacle.
1989	The fun and skill of Scalextric racing is further enhanced when the cars have lights, front and rear. You learn to drive the banked figure 8 circuit in daylight and then try it in a darkened room. The Escorts are very fast and driving needs a high degree of concentration. The set includes colourful crash barriers and flags.
1990	Ford Escorts have made a great name in the world of car rallying. Our set features two models equipped with working head and tail lights. Rally cars usually drive with lights ablaze, day and night', and now you can simulate this practice with Scalextric. The circuit is a banked figure 8 with a good supply of crash barriers. Mains transformer included.
1991	The cars supplied with this set are modelled on the highly successful Flagpoles and a supply Ford Escort XR3i, the little ‘i’ in the title denoting fuel Injection. The models are fitted with working head and tail lights which make for even more exciting racing in a darkened room. Remember you need some light on so you can see which car you are driving! The fully banked figure 8 track is supplied with crash barriers which clip to the edges of track sections. Flagpoles and a supply of self-adhesive flags also included. Space required 5’9”x 2’6” 175 x 80 cms. Track running length 13’4” 406 cms.
1992	Mains Power Pack included. Most rallying takes place during daylight hours but invariably there are sections which must be covered in the dark, hence the term Night Stages. The Ford XR3i's are veterans of the rally circuit and the Scalextric models are equipped with head and tail lights for really effective Night Stages rallying. The figure eight track with banked curves either end will provide hours of fast rating pleasure, especially when the lights in the room are dimmed.
