| 1982 | Being both a highly competitive and very reliable car the Porsche Turbo features very strongly in the Scalextric range. This model is in fact based on the Porsche 934 (not the 935 as previously stated). Only 31 real life 934's were ever made and they featured modified suspensions, wide spoilers, a huge vision-limiting rear wing and a turbo charged 3 litre flat-six engine producing in excess of 430 b.h.p. Supplied ready to race the 934 was an extremely fast car. The Scalextric model is ideal to race against the BMW as their on-track performance is very compatible. |
