The possibility of putting the sleek red Porsche 911 through its paces, is too much of a temptation for the new owner. In the car of his dreams the driver races away but as he is burning up the miles at speeds far in excess of the limit, he doesn't see the Police car cruise up behind him - but he hears it!
And so the stage is set for a real Scalextric race and chase set. The Porsche 911, with head and brakelights uses the fitted Magnatraction to great effect on the road circuit but so too does the Ford Cosworth Police car. The specially equipped 'Patrol' car not only has headlights but a 'wailing' siren, similar to those used by the Traffic Police plus a flashing blue light cluster.
The off-set track is most suitable for fast and exciting races. Caution, however, must be exercised when racing around the 180 degree chicane bend situated at one end of the circuit. There is only room for one car at a time. Can the Porsche evade capture or will the Traffic Police be able to get in front of him and bring him to a halt? Skill and daring are required.
Set also features the Power Base with suitable hand throttles.
