Year Information: Contents: Power Base and mains transformer Included. MegaSound hand throttles require 2 x Ever Ready LR6 batteries (not supplied). The batteries are required to provide the sound. They are not needed to operate the cars.
The battle for the Formula One Championship will be intense during 1994. As if in preparation for this battle, Scalextric are introducing two brand new Formula One cars. Unfortunately, one of these, the Williams Renault FW15C, cannot be shown on this page as the livery will be a closely guarded secret until the early Spring.
No such modesty for the brightly coloured Ford Benetton B193. This car can be seen in all its glory with Michael Schumacher's racing number clearly printed on the body, along with numerous logos. The model also features the distinctive ‘barn doors’ attached to the cars side pods.
Both the highly detailed Williams and Benetton will have as standard equipment the Easi-Fit guide blade assembly and Magnatraction. The set will also include a Power Base plus two MegaSound hand throttles. These throttles, with their raucous racing noises will certainly bring the exciting sounds of Formula One racing right into the house, so be warned!
