| 1981 | Hold your own death and destruction style races with these two Super Stox cars new from Scalextric. A unique assembly enables the cars to rotate through half of complete circles whilst cornering thus enabling them to reverse direction. No changes or additions to hand controllers are needed. The bonnets and wings can come off on impact thus creating true banger racing. |
| 1982 | Both the Stickshifter' and Fenderbender' Stox cars are supplied with alternative sets of exhaust pipes and number boards and both have parts which can come off as the cars collide. The unique turnaround spin mechanism allows these cars to rotate through half or even complete circles enabling either of them to travel around the track in both directions. This in effect doubles the operational length of a layout. The spin mechanism allows drivers to control their cars well during realistic tail-out slides around flat curves. (The addition of C19G borders around the outside of C151 track sections allows spinning on the outside lanes as well as the inside tracks).
Stox cars are controlled by standard Scalextric hand throttles, no changes or additions are needed Supplied with treaded tyres and chrome effect wheels these cars are just as exciting as they look. |
