The Sports Car World Championship is made up of a series of races including the Le Mans 24 hour duel. During this time man and machine are pushed to the limit. Of the many competitors Porsche and Mercedes are always there battling it out and vying for a winning plate at the 'finishing line'. It is, therefore, no accident that the Porsche 962 and the Mercedes C9/88 are put together in this set to continue their duel on a Scalextric circuit. These two superb models are well matched as they challenge each other in this excellent set. Both cars are fitted with Magnatraction for greater road holding, brakelights that operate when the power is taken off and headlights, which are all important for racing at night during a '24 hour' race. The large amount of track Included allows for alternative layouts to be constructed. |
