It's wild, and it's exciting - it's the Wild 3 Sixty set from Scalextric. What's the wild three sixty? Well that's what happens to the cars in this set when you take the corners too fast.
It's a set that requires quick reactions and a steady nerve as the finned tail of a Porsche starts to break away on the apex of a corner. The tyres try to grip but the momentum is too strong and the car suddenly ends up racing the wrong way! Quick, accelerate to the other corner and hard down with the throttle to turn the car - now it's facing the right way once more. But be careful with this manoeuvre, as too much use of the throttle will result in the car over steering into a slide, breaking away once more and then the Wild 3 Sixty spin. It's thrills and excitement, spin after spin after spin.
With their specially modified guide blade assembly, the twist and turn circuit is ideal to get the most out of the Porsche 962's. Suitable for use on all Scalextric track, the Porsches do require space to turn, so the positioning of the track borders is important.
